ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE
The Culture of Troy Construction is extremely important to the management of our company. The only way we can hope to maintain that culture is for everyone in our company to not only believe in that but to work and practice our core values every day.

Our History And Now
Troy Construction has been serving the pipeline industry by providing safe and efficient pipeline construction and maintenance for more than 70 years. The company was founded by Troy Dacus in 1950, and it has been led by the Dacus Family ever since. Troy Dacus remained President until 1973 when his brother, Dale Dacus, took on the responsibility as the leader of Troy Construction. Dale steadily grew Troy Construction throughout the Greater Houston area, working in some of the most congested regions of the city. Dale remained President for 13 years, stepping down in 1986, where he remained Vice President of Operations until 1992, when he officially retired. In 1986 David Dacus stepped up to fill his father’s role as President and CEO of Troy Construction. David saw and capitalized on an opportunity to grow Troy Construction while maintaining and improving the safety culture that surrounded Troy Construction. Currently, the company is led by President & CEO, Taylor Dacus.
Beginning in the early 1990’s, Troy Construction began an aggressive expansion effort, while maintaining a dedication to the company’s original goal of providing safe, quality work; the same high standard of workmanship our customers have come to expect. Troy Construction’s geographical reach extended from the congested Houston Ship Channel lay, to North and East Texas, as well as Louisiana.
In 2009, we expanded our capabilities to include compressor, pump, and meter station construction as well as storage, NRU, amine, and Cryo facility construction. Troy Construction’s Facility department is currently lead by James Eaves, Vice President of Operations.
With our qualified personnel we can construct up to eight mainline spreads, four large scale facilities, and dozens of small projects simultaneously.
We have two primary offices; Houston, Texas and Commerce, Georgia as well as over twenty-five satellite offices. Currently, Troy Construction has maintained over 2,400 employees and has a bonding capacity in excess of $1 Billion.
Troy Construction is adept at executing various contract delivery methods including lump sum, unit-based, cost plus, time and material, and Turnkey EPC. In addition to fixed contract work, Troy Construction also performs force account contracts. A significant amount of our force account work is for most, if not all, major pipeline and chemical companies.
In the future, Troy Construction will continue to be a private, family owned and operated company, emphasizing the same culture since our inception in 1950. Key personnel family members currently work for Troy Construction where they strive to uphold and improve the integrity and culture of the company.

“Thanks for a job well done!”
I want to formally share my thanks to you and your team for the execution of the outage work here at Thomaston. The early mechanical completion allowed our commissioning efforts to get an early start, and as it turned out, that time was beneficial to us achieving our goal. Your team’s performance leading up to this project milestone has assuredly enhanced Troy’s reputation.
